I had to learn about SEO and building web site visitors the hard way, and I learned that the shortcuts and tricks usually do more harm than good.

If you truly want to master the search sites and develop a constant flow of highly targeted traffic every day so you can earn automatic cash flow, you want to stop trying to challenge the search engines and you want to become buddies with them.

What I’m trying to say by this is that you do not need to beat the search websites, you just need to play by their rules and they will reward you accordingly .

The search website rules are ( 1 ) adding a lot of valuable and original content, ( two ) utilizing worthwhile keywords which are high in demand and low in competition, ( 3 ) using your keywords properly through diverse web pages, ( four ) and upping your link popularity so you are convincing in the eyes of the search sites.

Each of these things needs time, but I’m going to tell you from personal experience that any time spent in optimizing and expanding your internet site will produce results that are definitely worth any effort you put forth. I think of search engine optimization as an investment of my time.

Each hour I spend I know will bring back years worth of traffic and profits. Spend your time in building keyword targeted content pages on your site. Use keywords that have low competition so that they can easily be won, getting you into the top pages of the results .

Use your keywords sensibly all though each page , focusing each page on one or two main keywords. Use them adequately but avoid spamming your keywords by using them too many times in your content. About once for every 100 or so words should be plenty. The more content and keywords you employ, the more influence you will have at the engines.

And to be sure that your pages get listed and ranked highly, you’ll want to show your credibility by increasing your link acceptance. If you have cash to invest I would recommend purchasing some top of the range in-coming links from some credible paid directories.

However, if you’re like me when I initially began and you do not have any money to invest, I would recommend using the free online directories as well as doing some daily bum marketing to different article centers. This will secure many inbound links thus giving your website concern at the engines.
