Spas have been around for a very long time. One reason spas have become so popular, or why so many people love having a day at the spa, is because they have a little something called a steam room or steam shower. This is the room you will sit in, with many other people, doing most of your relaxing.
The steam room is the most relaxing place at the spa – and is perfect right after your massages. For a long while, the spa was the only place one was able to experience a steam room like this. Not anymore, because now there is something called a steam shower that takes the place of your old out dated shower.
That is right, now you can have a steam room, or steam shower, right in your own home, or bathroom. Once your steam shower is installed, all you need to get is your very own masseuse and you will have a fully fledged spa! Maybe this is a good time for your wife to take those massages lessons!
A Steam Shower – What is it?
Well, a steam shower is a very similar to the shower you have in your home now. In fact, it will take the place of your old shower. With the traditional shower all you have is a hot tap, a cold one and your water nozzle or spout. It is a bit different with a steam shower; you have a few more buttons to push.
The steam shower is not just a place for steam. If you feel you want to take a regular old shower now and again, no worries. All you need to do is tell the steam shower to be a regular shower, and you will be squeaky clean in no time. Also, when buying your first steam shower, you should consider if you want one with a single seat or one that allows for more people to sit in?
The Steam Shower – How does it do it?
It really is not all that complicated – it is just good old science. What do you do when you want steam? Boil some water! This is similar to how a steam shower works. It is all pretty when you see it for the first time, but behind all of the prettiness is an entire industrial area! Well, maybe just a small little steam generator – that works like an industrial area! This steam generator is activated when you activate the steam program on the waterproof dial within the shower.
The generator will then be filled with cold water (from your source supply) and in a few moments you will have steam coming out of each nozzle in the shower. Yes, you read it right; there is not just one nozzle.
